Stream Residential partners with homeowners, builders, and home buyers to realize healthy, comfortable, and energy efficient homes. Our diagnostic test leverages applied science and engineering principles and combines the latest technology with good old fashioned know-how about how buildings work. Our contracting delivers the right solutions for the problem together with high quality workmanship and our expert maintenance services keep it performing well. Our reputation is based on solving the root causes of problems and being there for the customer long-term as a local service business. We absolutely believe in long-term partnering customer relationships.

The People


David Slater

President & Owner: David Slater founded Stream Residential with a passion to help Triangle homeowners enjoy healthy, comfortable and energy efficient homes. With his 15 years of leadership and management experience working at large companies such as Motorola, Texas Instruments and Tyco Building Systems in various capacities including engineering management, product development, manufacturing operations and business and process redesign, he applies the same principles to small business contracting and engineering services at Stream Residential.

He is now a moisture control, indoor air quality and mechanical systems expert, who regularly speaks as a subject matter expert at local and national functions such as RESNET Energy Conference, Home Builder Associations, ASHI Home Inspector state conference, and various realty and other groups. Living in Raleigh, David and his wife and family are involved in various community organizations and enjoy water sports, history, gardening and ballroom dancing.



Lorilee

Front Office Customer Specialist: Lorilee cares for our customers by handling their phone calls, following-up on completed jobs for customer satisfaction, dispatching technicians, etc. She brings a wealth of experience in customer care and our customers appreciate her!

Crawl Space Sales Engineer: Josh helps customers "green" their existing homes by improving their crawl spaces to transform dirt crawl spaces into dry, healthy, energy efficient spaces! He also brings significant home building experience to the Stream Team as a licensed General Contractor.



Carlton

Heating & AC Technician: Carlton's 10 years of experience in HVAC service allows him to confidently provide our customers with tune-ups and repairs. He is fantastic with our customers as well!

Anne

Office Admin: Anne miraculously handles all the back office responsibilities such as HR, payroll and books. With a background in research analytical chemistry, she uses her planning and organizational skills to keep Stream Residential running smoothly!



Noel

Crew Supervisor: Noel Pena leads the "crawl space crew" to deliver the results customers want. His attention to detail and sense of ownership over the customer's property drives him to make every job turn out as if it's his own house. Noel's skill and experience in past construction and other supervisory roles here in the Triangle enable him successfully do this.


Crew #1

Crew #1: This crew has worked together on countless crawl space and duct system jobs for both homeowners of existing homes and new construction. They've also been trained on why certain installation features are important so that they can appreciate how important the seemingly little things can really impact the performance of a sealed crawl space or air duct system, for example. Cesar, Octavio, Erick, Santiago, Agustin and Noel are pictured.


Santiago

Field Technician: Santiago wears many hats and expertly works on crawl space systems, air duct systems, performs maintenance check-ups, service repair, air duct installations and energy contracting project work. His repair, maintenance, service and contracting experience for larger companies and his on-going training makes him an invaluable technician for Stream.
